Training in First Aid with the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations in Ploiesti. Students and teachers took part in a workshop organized by the specialized people from the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations in Ploiesti. We all learned the most useful steps to do in order to offer first aid, in case of different adversities, like earthquake.

Students and teachers in our school volunteered in order to help a small village school which had just a few books in their small library. Let’s help an orphanage!
Nicolae Iorga School students and teachers designed posters in order to convince our school community to help the orphanage in our city. They were posted in school and they attracted a lot of donations. More than 300 students and 15 teachers were involved.
Mentoring workshop (Parents and Grandparents)
Students invite parents or grandparents and they offer their knowledge, helping them use their smartphones. They successfully learned how to use Instagram and they made their first post. Both students and parents/grandparents volunteer for this activity.

4th grade students volunteer to help their colleagues to learn more about technology, apps, programs, in order to use them at making projects, or at homework. They cooperate in order to create a poster about volunteering. Special needs students were included.
Come back to sport
In December, Ms.Nicoleta Mocanu, from the NGO “Come back to sport”, volunteered to come to teach our 5th grade students to be positive (with laughter therapy) and to have a correct posture (with posture exercises), while sitting for 6 hours per day, at their desks.
Let’s talk about volunteering!
On October 24, 2024, at the “Nicolae Iorga” Secondary School in Ploiesti, the students of the fifth grade participated in an interactive activity about volunteering held by two volunteers from the Prahova County Youth Foundation.

Christmas Fair
Students sold food, drinks, objects. The money will be used to build an outdoor classroom.
Be a volunteer! Help an animal shelter!
In December 2023, about 200 students took part in the volunteering activity of helping an animal shelter. The students and their parents bought food, blankets, toys and other materials for the animals in the shelter.
