Technological innovations and social innovations represent useful tools that respond to social needs and can lead to new capacities that improve the capacity of civil society to get involved, to act. Cumbersome administration, without a well-established logic of humanity crises are realities that must be addressed and resolved in the most efficient and effective way. Romania has a strategic location in this context and that is why civil society needs as many well-trained volunteer leaders as possible, and the exchange of experiences between the countries involved.

Therefore, during the activities of Workshop and training, from project Walking the Path of Giving: Taking Action for Solidarity, Sustainability, an Inclusive Society and Fairer World, Project type: KA2 Strategic Partenership Project, Ref. no.: 2023-1-EL01-KA210-SCH-000152161, which took place in National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, Pitesti University Center  – 27th September 2024, the project team took part in the following

  • scientific activities: Mobilization models for volunteers: NGO representative staff – Red Cross, Efficient activities of volunteering: NGO representative staff – UPIT volunteer corps, the president of National Organization of Romanian Scouts, Training: Smart digital tools for a successful volunteer leader – aims to transform them into leaders who will pass on the practices of digital volunteering, Questions and discussions about Intellectual Output: The chapters WPG Guide, Project Management, Project Quality Assurance, Dissemination activities and visibility of the project;
  • and practical activities – Visit: the UPIT media studio and TV and discussions, the UPIT collection point packages for Ukraine.
