On Friday, October 25th, a training seminar on first aid was held in the library of the 19th Primary School in Katerini. The school’s teachers, with the assistance of Ms. Chrysoula Rapti, a representative and trainer from the Katerini Red Cross, were trained in providing first aid to individuals in danger. The seminar covered first aid procedures for choking due to a foreign object in the throat, strokes, and heart attacks. It concluded with training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), life support through chest compressions, and rescue breaths.
Because any one of us can save a life!
