On Monday, March 24th at 7:00 p.m., in collaboration with the Kindergarten and the Parents and Guardians Association of the two schools, a seminar was held titled “FIRST AID FOR PARENTS.”
Ms. Chryssoula Rapti, a nurse from the Regional Department of Katerini of the Hellenic Red Cross, presented a First Aid program to the parents. The program included a practical demonstration and hands-on training using mannequins to develop skills such as CPR, use of a defibrillator, restoring consciousness during a fainting episode, among others.
This activity is part of the European Erasmus KA210 program being implemented by our school unit under the title:
“Walking the Paths of Volunteering: Taking Action for Solidarity, for Sustainability, for an Inclusive Society, for a Fairer World.”
With the motto: Save a life in danger! Be the person who can make a difference in a critical moment, we believe that updating our skills must be ongoing, as it is a matter of personal responsibility.
