Approximately 100 students participated in a simulation workshop that recreated the well-known volunteer initiative of the NGO “Kapnikos Stathmos.”
The students observed a mock forest fire scenario, followed by the call to the fire service initiated by Mr. Tsolakidis and the students themselves. A demonstration of water spraying to extinguish the fire took place, accompanied by instructions and safety guidelines provided by the head of the Fire Department.
After the simulation, Mr. Ilias Tsolakidis offered an evaluation of the initiative “I Give One Day of My Summer to the Forest”, encouraging students to register and take part in the upcoming summer action together with their families.
The workshop was covered by ERT3 national television, and interviews were given by the School Principal and Mr. Tsolakidis.
