The School
Primary school Grigor Vitez in Zagreb has 300 students, but half of them are students with special needs. Our school is unique in the Republic of Croatia, according to class conformation and the number of integrated students with special needs (ADHD, low cognitive abilities, autism, behaviour problems…). In our everyday work, we provide the same opportunities to all our students. We run 4 types of educational program:
- regular program
- customized program (mild disabilities)
- special program (severe disabilities)
- special program to achieve everyday competencies

What nakes us different than the other schools in Croatia:
- Morning shift + afternoon extended specialized treatment
- Full non-educational team (pedagogue, psychologist, social worker, speach therapist, librarian)
- Brain gym
- “Teacch” method (students with PSA)
- Play attention
- Professional orientation (workshops from the 1st grade)
- Extended program for gifted students (from 1st till 4th grade, so far.
