As part of our school’s ongoing social awareness and experiential learning initiatives, students are actively involved in the creation and care of a school vegetable garden.
This project goes beyond planting and gardening — it carries a strong social purpose, as the harvested vegetables will be donated to financially vulnerable families within our school community and beyond.
Through this initiative, students:
Learn hands-on about sustainable agriculture and food self-sufficiency
Develop values of giving, solidarity, and social responsibility
Strengthen their sense of belonging and active participation in the community
Love for nature, social contribution, and conscious consumption are values best nurtured from an early age – and the school garden offers a unique opportunity to educate responsible, environmentally aware, and socially engaged citizens.
This action is implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, aiming to promote ecological awareness, social responsibility, and collaborative, practical learning.
