2nd Cycling Tour – Artwork Placement – Cleaning Pelika River

On Sunday, April 21st, the 2nd cycling tour of our school was organized in the area of the Pelika River in Katerini, in collaboration with the Parents’ and Guardians’ Association, the “Cycling Escape” Association, the “Initiative for Pelika” Association, and the “Child Care” Association. Our young students, accompanied by parents and educators, cycled to the area of Pelika, where they were informed by the responsible person of the “Initiative for Pelika” association about the history of the area and the association’s actions for its redevelopment. Next, the students’ artwork on the theme of Volunteering was placed in a location where all citizens of Katerini passing by could see and admire it. Together, students and parents cleaned up the area from litter, and after enjoying healthy snacks provided by the “Initiative for Pelika” association, we returned to the school satisfied, setting our next appointment for the 3rd Cycling Tour for the new school year.
